King and Portland is coming soon to King Street West and Portland Street by Allied Properties REIT and RioCan REIT. It is a new mixed-use development consisting of residential, office and retail use space and is designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects. The proposal is of a 14 storey office building and a 16 storey residential building with a total of 116 dwelling units scheduled to be completed in 2019.

This development consists of 1,500,000 square feet of residential, 1,000,000 square feet of office and 500,000 square feet of retail space.
RioCan REIT has been in business since 1992 and today has over 340 properties across Canada covering approximately 79 million square feet. They are "Canada's largest real estate investment trust" with an expanding portfolio and currently has over 40 projects under development across Canada located in urban markets that combines office, commercial and residential uses. A mixed-use project located at 740 Dupont Street by Christie Street in Toronto, Ontario. The proposed development consists of two levels of retail and six storeys of residential above. Total gross floor area is approximately 190,000 square feet of which 102,000 square feet will be for residential uses and 88,460 square feet will be for retail uses. Construction will commence in January of 2018.
College Street and Manning Avenue - A mixed-use development consisting of a nine storey residential building with retail at grade located at 555 College Street West by Manning Avenue in Toronto, Ontario. Total gross floor area is approximately 74,000 square feet of which 68,000 square feet will be for residential uses and 5,900 square feet will be ground level retail use space.
RioCan Yonge Eglinton Centre - A mixed-use residential and commercial development located at 2300 Yonge Street by Eglinton Avenue in Toronto, Ontario with a total gross floor area of 1,014,517 square feet of which 754,068 square feet will be office use space and 264,418 square feet will be retail use space. This development consists of two high-rise office towers of 30 and 22 storeys in height above two levels of upscale retail.
